The Challenge

We feel most alive when able to freely and authentically express ourselves in work, play, and relationships. If blocked from this expression we may be subject to disturbances such as depression, anxiety, tension or self-destructiveness. While counseling can offer some relief from and management of these symptoms, analysis provides a deeper understanding of self, which is vital for lasting change. Depth work, the vehicle for this increased self-knowledge, is the exploration of unconscious aspects of the psyche that have a powerful impact, both positive and negative, on self-expression. Each person’s journey is unique; the work may include historical review, dream analysis, creative expression, and/or active imagination.
